Talking Flowers is a project from Malmö based artist Astrid Brandin. Releasing her first single Talking Flowers in 2021, followed by Storytelling, released in 2023, she is now ready to release her debut album "Fabrications" on November 8th via Rama Lama Records.
Astrid creates 60’s tinged psychedelic, dark and haunting soundscapes topped with futuristic synths combining in equally playful and terrifying melodies. The album started with Astrid buying a Farfisa organ. Immediately after carrying the heavy thing into her apartment and playing the first chord, the songs practically wrote themselves. She then brought the Farfisa all the way to Tambourine studios where the songs grew into what you can hear now.
Fabrications is recorded in Tambourine Studios and produced by Joar Sylvan and Astrid.
